Funny thing is that there are 2 songs. The second one starts at 2:30, and deserves 9 i think it could be better but its perfect for this setting. The first one deserves 7/10 but mastering is not good.

Well, you can look at it that way, but these parts are meant to be together.. Mastering is not that good, I agree. However it's not that bad either :)

Theres nothing to talk about here, this is a good song. The intro makes it weird, the end is weird. It overally felt like it could be put into jazz category :P
The only good song in top5. I sometimes cant believe what crap makes it to top5, the other songs deserve about 3 and yours is a bit above 4. I think it could be better somehow, but i get that feeling often :P

Funny that you say such stuff while you don't even make music yourself.

What you need to understand is that i could have added more to this song but... It's a personal choice, not out of laziness, but because adding stuff doesn't always make a song better.

Ofcourse, newgrounds isn't full of number one hits that would be faved by everyone. But because everyone has their own style, it stays pretty interesting to look at the audio portal now and then.

You should consider selling this song to radio,f i you put some voice to fill the void ofc, but they take songs which are bad and not good but makes normal people think theyre great.
To repeat: not worth top 5, but seeing what crap got there - its ok.
Simplicity works, but not when you have 6 minute song , dont you feel something is missing here?

Different but good song

I feel like the whole thing is too loud, but when i turn it down it sounds bad :P.
the flute is good, UNTIL 3:18 and then gets worse at 3:30 because its too chaotic, so many melodies, and they dont sound well , dont worry its flute's fault not yours ^^

haha :D I guess you're right, it was late at night when I finished it, so I guess I was too tired to notice it. I'll probably change some things in it, like turn up the bass a tad, and remove the flute at 3:30, and maybe take a tour into the mixer again.

1st half and 2nd are two different songs

I didnt like the vocals, in the 2nd half it sounds like cheap country techno :P
but panflute tries to keep it together and somehow it mades . so yeh :)

I intend to remove the vocals and redo the lead melody, and make it into an original song instead of an remix.
